Join Our Team as a Spa Manager
The Spa Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of our Spa and Health Club department. This position focuses on maintaining the highest standards of guest experience, fostering a culture of care and service excellence, and motivating the spa team to deliver unparalleled service. The role also involves strategic planning to achieve both short- and long-term operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Guest Experience and Service Excellence
- Provide exceptional customer focus and ensure an outstanding guest experience.
- Maintain a relaxing, luxurious spa environment in line with lodge standards.
- Ensure all guest interactions meet or exceed Elewana’s service expectations.
- Address guest complaints or special requirements with professionalism and efficiency.
2. Spa Operations Management
- Develop and implement operational policies, goals, and procedures for the Spa.
- Ensure the Spa remains clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped at all times.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to manage costs and maintain stock levels.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all Spa and Health Club equipment.
- Monitor and analyze competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
3. Team Leadership and Training
- Inspire and motivate the Spa team to deliver consistent service excellence.
- Provide hands-on training for new employees and ongoing coaching for the team.
- Monitor team performance, offering constructive feedback and guidance.
- Create and manage weekly schedules and duty charts for Spa employees.
4. Financial Performance and Revenue Growth
- Promote and sell Spa programs and wellness offerings to guests and groups.
- Implement up-selling strategies to maximize Spa and Health Club revenue.
- Analyze guest preferences to tailor services and drive repeat visits.
5. Health, Safety, and Compliance
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards across all operations.
- Enforce confidentiality policies for both guests and employees.
- Conduct regular safety drills and ensure compliance with fire prevention protocols.
6. Strategic Collaboration
- Liaise with other departments, including engineering, to ensure smooth operations.
- Attend daily meetings with Heads of Department (HOD) to align strategies.

- Conduct regular inventory checks for retail and operational stocks.
- Raise requisitions for items as needed in compliance with purchasing standards.
- Support management with additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
Skills and Competencies
- Passion for spa and wellness services with a strong customer-centric mindset.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and other relevant tools.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a Degree/Diploma in Hotel or Hospitality Management.
Experience
- At least 3–5 years of experience as a Spa Manager in a luxury lodge, hotel, or established spa brand.
