About the Role
This role places you at the forefront of Bolt’s operations in Tanzania. As Operations Manager, you will oversee the business in designated cities, driving growth, optimizing services, and building a high-performing team. You’ll challenge the status quo with innovative strategies and contribute directly to the success of our mobility solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Expansion: Manage the growth of Bolt’s ride-hailing services in assigned cities, with full responsibility for Profit and Loss (P&L).
- Optimize Operations: Oversee projects aimed at improving processes and delivering exceptional service for drivers and riders.
- Drive Strategy: Develop and implement initiatives to enhance the value proposition, grow the supply base, and improve retention.
- Business Development: Identify revenue opportunities, build partnerships, and negotiate contracts with driver and vehicle fleets.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and lead a team of Operations Specialists to achieve outstanding results.
- Collaborate Globally: Work closely with HQ teams, including Product, Legal, and Marketing, to execute initiatives that drive growth and efficiency.

Ideal Qualifications:
- 5+ years in an analytical, consulting, or managerial role.
- Advanced data analysis skills, including proficiency in Excel.

- Strong negotiation and communication skills in both English and Swahili.
