DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Make sure the tasks are carried out in accordance with standard operating procedures (Sop), managing and training graduate geologists.
Participate in the MRM vocational training program for young geologists and graduates to ensure a complete geological understanding of mineral bodies.
Managing drilling plans and field equipment to ensure drilling compliance is monitored against the budget
Ensuring excellent practice in drilling, sampling, and dosage quality control and quality assurance and develops procedures.
Providing geological support for operations while supporting and effectively managing subordinate personnel within the MRM helps increase resource definition,geological understanding, and profitable mining.
Guide, promote, encourage, and encourage direct reports, peers, and other employees to successfully achieve individual, departmental, and corporate goals.
Establish and maintain good working relationships with domestic and foreign customers and stakeholders.
Contact the geologists at the site to prepare and translate the geology into the geological sections in order to find a geological model for the deposits.
Generate high-quality geological models using the Seequent of Leapfrog geogeological modeling software.
Make sure the methods of geological formation are carried out in accordance with the standards and procedures.
Conducting data validation with QAQC on modeling-related data. Ensure QA compliance with samples, monitor QC issues and sources of errors, identify errors, and correct them.
Close working relationship with the search to ensure that the geological model agrees with the operational geological data.
A Bachelor of Science degree in geology or a related field is required. Experience and abilities are required.
Five to seven years of postgraduate experience and at least three years in mineral exploration and mine geology, mineral control, resource formation, or project geological responsibilities
Experience with Vulcan, Leapfrog, Micromine, or other mining software
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Ability to demonstrate great analytical skills and problem solving.
Ability to work within a team environment with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to act on projects and work independently.
High level of organization and attention to detail.
