POSITION: News Producer
You will be responsible for overseeing the production of video content for news media outlets, you will involve conceptualizing and executing video news stories that inform and engage audiences, you will also work closely with reporters and editors including other production team members to ensure the quality and delivery meets Company standards
Duties and responsibilities
Using audience data to refine content strategies for news, features and special projects for YouTube and social media
Develop scripts and storyboards to outline the narrative structure
Developing content outside events events and research topic for video news coverage
Conducting interviews and experts to gather information and perspectives for video news
Upload and distribute visuals and audio to MCL sites and social media channels
Editing raw footage to produce polished video news segments that adhere to established style
Conducting through fact checking and verification processes to ensure the accuracy
Developing and deploying new content formats including new segments
Research, cultivate and operationalize new digital distribution platforms for MCL
