The organization has identified it self as independent country chapter of international community living with HIV in East Africa in which it is subsidiary of ICWEA which works in East Africa. The Organisation works with other local forums such as National council of people living with HIV and AIDA(NACOPHA). The organisation encourages full participation and affairs of women who lives with HIV and AIDS while creating programmes and leading them in decision making
