Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) is dedicated to providing high-quality, specialized healthcare services across Africa. As a healthcare social enterprise, we work to support communities and the most vulnerable individuals through various development programs. Our mission includes preventing lifelong disabilities, and we play a crucial role in maternal and newborn healthcare (MNHC), including obstetric fistula repairs.

Our Maternity and Newborn Wing serves as a referral center for high-risk pregnancies and emergency deliveries in Dar es Salaam and the Eastern Zone of Tanzania.

To strengthen our Human Resource Department, we are seeking an energetic and analytical Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to support our business units with essential HR services.

Your Role

As an HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of HR services through a strategic, business-focused approach. Your role involves assessing the needs of different departments, interpreting and applying CCBRT’s HR strategy, policies, and regulations, and offering practical solutions to complex HR issues.

Working closely with line managers, you will provide value-added support on all staff management aspects, ensuring smooth HR operations within your designated departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR support for assigned departments, ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Handle HR administration tasks, including leave management, employee compliance, and record-keeping.
  • Oversee performance management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead recruitment and selection processes, ensuring the best candidates are hired.
  • Conduct training needs assessments and support professional development initiatives.
  • Assist in disciplinary procedures, offering guidance and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
  • Support payroll administration and contribute to the implementation of HR Information Systems (HRIS).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • At least six (6) years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a business environment.
  • Experience in payroll administration and HR compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on performance analysis and reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other word processing software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-oriented approach.
  • Fluency in English and Swahili.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
