Dangote Cement Plc/Kiwanda cha Dangote, is currently presenting new jobs in Tanzania, looking for Senior Legal Officer to join their working team.  As Sellected individual you will provide general and specialised legal support  services to DC Tanzania in liaison with legal Department DCP HQ through the regal Counsel. POSITION: Senior Legal Officer 

You will ensure that DC Tanzania is compliant with the legal and regulatory requirements of the operating environment and legal risk to the business controlled. You will review cases field against the company cases, defensive available, profile suitable law firm that will defend the company

Qualification 

  • Bachelor Degree in law (LL.B) and call to Tanzania Bar and membership of Tanganyika law society 
  • Five years of relevant post call work experience and maximum of ten years post-call experience 
  • Basic understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations and legislations relating to the cement manufacturing and mining industry 
  • Good knowledge of Tanzania regulatory compliance regime 
  • Sound and up to date knowledge  of Corporate governance laws, issues, trends
  • Knowledge understanding and ability  to interpret complex legal issues and proffer sound legal advice 
  • Diploma and good interpersonal relationship skills 
  • String written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
