Kilombero Sugar is looking for Boiler Attendant, as successful candidate you will be responsible for Boiler operations and maintenance of machines parts during crushing season and off crop
POSITION: Boiler Attendants
Duties and responsibilities
- Ensuring boiler housekeeping is maintained
- Ensuring boiler furnaces are cleaned
- Ensuring proper bagasse management
- Oversee and manage bagasse equipment during shift
- Oversee feed water stations operations
- Ensuring proper condensate level management is maintained
- Ensuring boiler feed water parameters PH, TDS
- Ensuring boiler mabrey flashing done as per schedule
- Doing inspection of boiler equipment
- Maintenance of boiler equipment during crushing
- Reporting all boilers issues to foreman

QUALIFICATIONS
- Form IV or above
- Certificate in mechanical engineering/trade test two of Fitter mechanics or equivalent
- Two years of experience in boiler operations
- Basic computer skills
- Basic training in industrial safety
- Able to identify hazard and asses associated risk at boiler operations
- Trained in boiler Water contamination
