Are you looking for Jobs in Tanzania?.The University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) is Education institution that is found in the city of dar es Salaam Tanzania which is around 13km to the city centre with the area of 1625 acres on the observation hill as its name known in Kiswahili word “Mlimani”. The university was brought up in 1961 as the university college of Dar es Salaam (UCD) which is an affiliate college of the University of London.
The establishment celebration was hosted by the Gorvenment of Tanganyika (TANU) at lumumba Street in Dar es Salaam but leiter it was moved to current location at the hill. From its establishment the university had one faculty of law with 13 students with only one female student. But in 1963 the university became constuent college of the University of East Africa working together with Makerere University.
