The Community Wildlife Management Areas Consortium as known on its abriviation (CWMAC) as Apex body in the Wildlife Management in the communities in the County. It was registered in Tanzania under Society ACT Cap 337 9f 22nd 2010 under the registration Number S.A.16619.
The establishment and function of CWMAC are stipulated under Regulation in the Wildlife Management Areas of 2018. CWMAC members are those that have attained the authorized status from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism and currently there 21Member and 17 CWMAC in the different departments
Their team servers as platforms for AA members and other stakeholders that meets and dicide on different matters for their benefit that focus on the benefits of the Wildlife conservation in their villages lands for better livelihood of the wild resources and better livelihood of wild resources and enhance directly community benefits from wildlife management through tourism activities
